I've added a couple of family photos of Alisha, Chris and Corvette to my profile.  Fee free to use them.  I'll also add a pic that's a 4 generation family photo with me, my dad (Alisha's grandpa) Corvette and Alisha(you don't have to use it) My dad died of brain cancer 5 months after the photo was taken-on Corvettes 2nd birthday.

Alisha has a family pic on this site.  It's in her photo section.  I'll check my portable hard-drive and see if I have any family photos of them when they did their vow renewal a couple years ago.  We all had a blast at their vow renewal.  Alisha got very drunk and I gave her one of those cake cover lids that you use to put over the top of the cake to barf in so she wouldn't do it in Jan's (Chris' mother) truck.  They used her truck to drive to the resort they stayed at that night.  Chris was the designated driver and Alisha was the designated barfer!  She told me that when they walked through the lobby of that fancy resort she already had puke on her dress.  That little girl knew how to have fun but I was always so happy that she did it responsibly.  She never drank and drove and she always made sure Corvette was with a sober family member.  She never turned it into a weekly habit either.

He isn't actually a cop.  He's a detention officer (jail guard) at the jail in downtown Phoenix.  He's been fired from that job, actually.  What hurts so much is that he knew better than to drink and drive.  He locked up people every day at work that had done just that and he still chose to do it.  He was arrested almost two weeks after he killed her but he's still sitting there waiting for sentencing.  We'll be doing that on May 10th.

The cute little girl in my avatar is Alisha at about 1 1/2 years old.  She's always been so small!

I'm Alisha's mom.  The whole family is still in shock and it's been almost 6 months now.  Chris and Corvette will hopefully be moving back to the Phoenix area soon so they will have more family around.  We worry about them the most, but the pain is still so raw for all of us.  Both of her twin sister's Ashley and Nicole are pregnant (5 days apart!) - any girls born will have the middle name "Alisha" !!!  I thank every one here for their support and condolences.  The world has lost a most unique and interesting person.
